Flyers are a great way to promote your business or event. One of the most popular products we print are double sided A5 flyers because they are a great value item to enable your message to be seen. Our clients tell us they use them to promote their new products or services, advertise special offers, or to just raise awareness of their brand in the local area. However, in order to be effective, your flyer needs to be well-designed and informative.

We think a great flyer should have;

1. A good headline
The headline tells people what your flyer is about so it’s important to think carefully about the wording and not make it too long. If you are able to grab people’s attention with the headline it may encourage them to read on.

2. Some great visuals
Include some visuals on your flyer such as photos, illustrations or infographics to break up the text and make your flyer more appealing to read. Visuals often convey your message much quicker than reading through lots of text.

3. Testimonials
Testimonials from satisfied customers can help to build trust and credibility. A few positive reviews or testimonials should be included on your flyer to give people the confidence to select you.

4. Text that is proofread
Before you print your flyer, be sure to proofread it carefully for any errors in grammar or spelling. A flyer with errors can make you look unprofessional and may damage your credibility.

A designer will often proofread your flyer and highlight anything that may need changing. They will also send you a pdf proof which you should check. See our blog here for how to check a pdf proof –  https://silverstonedesignsolutions.com/how-to-check-a-pdf-proof/

5. A strong call to action
The call to action tells people what you want them to do after they have read your flyer. Do you want them to visit your website, give you a call to make a booking, or visit with a discount code? Make sure your call to action is clear and easy to follow.
